The Rational IT Model ™ (TRIM) is a reference model for your IT service delivery based on ITIL® where we have simplified and scaled down to a level that all organizations can handle.
The model includes all the processes, roles, templates and procedures that you need to implement IT Service Management as a working and efficient production of IT services that provide value to your organization. In addition to all the documents, the model is built based on a holistic view with functions, escalation paths and governance of the organization, making it easy to get your entire organization, including suppliers to work together.

Target group | This course aims both at those who today works with service management issues and want to know more about the model TRIM and get some concrete suggestions on how to simplify the use of the ITIL® framework. But also, those who want an introduction and basic understanding of Service Management. |
Prerequisites | Previous knowledge of ITIL® is good but not required for this course. The course describes the basics of service management in a way that even participants without prior ITIL® knowledge can get an understanding of the model TRIM. |
You’ll learn
The main component of a service-oriented IT delivery is the IT organization. During the course, we will go through the basics of service management and provide a comprehensive introduction to the management model of TRIM and how this is connected to the IT organization.
During the course, we will go through the basics that must be in place within the IT organization and provide a comprehensive introduction to the processes and functions that are included in the model. Part of the course content is based on the ITIL® books, for example processes and concepts, but where the ITIL books describes a best practice that should be adjusted, are we in this course more specific and describes how it can be done so that you as a participant easily can connect the theory to your own business.
